Kochi Tuskers Kerala vs Chennai Super Kings Match Summary IPL 2011, Kochi

A superb inning from Brendon McCullum (47 runs off 33 balls) and Parthiv Patel (34 runs off 26 balls) leaded Kochi Tuskers Kerala to brilliance with the 7 wickets win over Chennai Super.
Brendon McCullum finished a brutal impression into the below-par D/L-adjusted target set by Chennai Super Kings, and useful contributions from Parthiv Patel and Brad Hodge then provide Kochi Tuskers their second win in a row.
It was in compete contrast of Brendon McCullum, Parthiv Patel and Brad Hodge which seems easy for chasing the target of 131 for win. They are the two young weapons of Kochi Tuskers Team.
Mahela Jayawardene got out once striking R Ashwin for a four and a six, but nobody was keeping McCullum from striking balls towards the sightscreen, as Shadab Jakati realised. In the 9th over, Tim Southee also attained the blunder of drifting into McCullum's pads, and was strike for two boundaries as Kochi made a rate of nine runs an over.
It washed out by rain almost all through the first nine overs, play was suspended for more than an hour after that due to a heavy shower, and Chennai sustained sluggish all over. Except for for a flowing 28 off 18 from Vijay, none of the Chennai batsmen managed well to the pace of the pitch.
